I fell in love with photography at age 14 and had a camera and darkroom in our basement. I think photography gave me a way to express myself which was beyond what words could offer me. Fast forward, 2 kids and 1 divorce later, I was able to go back to school and pursue my dream.

It was on my way home from my first day at The International Center for Photography when I stopped to take a photo of a window at Barney’s. I immediately knew at that moment that photography was my calling. I opened a home studio, where I did headshots, portraits and boudoir.

I have recently relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida and flowers have become my models. For me, it’s way more than just taking a pretty picture of a flower. It has become a way that I feed my soul by connecting with the beauty of nature every morning.

My goal now is to share the joy and awe of nature’s beauty that I get to experience with you, the viewer. I think it’s hard not to feel somewhat uplifted when looking at a flower.
